Many thanks for your Woollett printout which I found very interesting.
Two points- I must have the wrong date for Emma marrying in 1853, I will
check and let you know, as I did much of this research 15 to 20 years ago.
(Dr) Frederick Richard Gowar is spelt with the "a" and not "e".
I have been in contact with an Australian Woollett researcher called Ross
Woollett whose address is 19 Gordon St., Mosman, NSW, 2088. Have you had
heard from Ross with regard to the family?
He is descended from John Woollett & Mary Rabbitt's son William = Sarah Page
in 1805. Their son William born 1809 emigrated to Australia as a free
settler in 1832 on the "Mary" and died at Cooma, NSW in 1869.
George Woollett who married Mary Crouch (1793 Hastings) was also a son of
John Woollett and Mary Rabbitt.
I will go through your 20 pages carefully and see if I can see other
connections; as I have a number of letters from other Australian & English
researchers enquiring about their Woollett ancestors.
